We Travel PC

Technology, Looked After

Computers, security, email, networks and the web. One accountable partner looking after all of it.

Someone in your corner.

One owner, one phone number, and a client list kept deliberately small. You are not buying services from a vendor. You are gaining someone accountable for the technology your business depends on.

The practice

Six areas, one standard of care. Open any of them to see what that covers.

Security Accounts, devices, email and the layers protecting them.+
Every computer guarded, with a person reviewing what it finds Around-the-clock response when something real is caught Sign-ins and identities checked, every account, every location Email screened before it reaches the inbox Known weaknesses found and closed before they are used Staff trained to spot trouble
Computers The machines people actually work on, kept current, protected and supported.+
Updates applied and verified, not assumed Disks encrypted, recovery keys kept safe Health, disk space and warranties tracked Replacement planned by age and condition, not by crisis Mac and Windows, equally at home Help from a person who knows your setup
Email & Cloud Microsoft 365, email, files, Teams and the accounts behind them.+
Microsoft 365, set up and cared for Advanced filtering in front of every inbox Two-step sign-in on every account Mail and files backed up outside Microsoft Licensing kept right-sized, never oversold Your domain protected from impersonation
Networks Internet, Wi-Fi, firewalls, switches and the infrastructure connecting everything.+
Business-grade Wi-Fi, designed and tuned Firewalls and switches, kept current Guest networks kept separate from business Secure connections for working away from the office Outage alerts around the clock Every device on the network accounted for
Backups & Recovery Servers, computers, Microsoft 365 and the plan for the bad day.+
Nothing important exists in only one place Backups checked daily, not assumed Restores tested, so recovery is a fact, not a hope Retention that matches how your business works Cloud data backed up too, outside the vendor A written plan for the day something goes wrong
Websites Hosting, DNS, certificates, maintenance and availability.+
Hosting, domains and DNS in one place Certificates and encryption, always current Hardened to the same standard as this site Contact forms checked every hour When a custom-built site is the better answer, we build it, with no template stack to babysit Every change logged and reversible

Nothing important is merely installed. Everything is checked, verified and reviewed.

Who we look after

Businesses

Organizations that want one accountable technology partner instead of multiple vendors and systems nobody owns. Offices, schools, care organizations, contractors and shops across the region. For many of them, we simply are the IT department.

Homes & families

People who want the same level of care around computers, Wi-Fi, accounts, backups and security. Same standard, smaller scale.

How that works →
What being looked after means
  • You have one number to call. The person answering knows your systems and your history.
  • Routine work happens without asking. Updates, backups and security checks continue in the background, every day.
  • Problems have an owner. Issues do not disappear into a queue. Someone answers for the result.
  • You can see what we see. Clients have a portal showing the systems and services being looked after.

Beyond the technology

We help make the decisions, too.

Technology does not only arrive as computers and software. It shows up in copier proposals, internet contracts, new vendors, office moves and things the business is told it needs. Clients bring us into those conversations before they become expensive problems.

Vendor & contract review Internet providers, copier agreements, software proposals: evaluated with you before you commit.
Planning & lifecycle Age, warranty and capacity tracked, so technology is budgeted rather than replaced in a crisis.
Quarterly reviews What changed, what we are keeping an eye on, and what should come next.
Documentation & accountability The important details are written down, so nothing depends on one person's memory.

If it touches the technology your business depends on, you can bring us into the conversation.

A local care organization, where downtime is a safety problem, not an inconvenience.

A mechanical contractor, keeping crews, quotes and job files moving.

The creed

What we believe

  • The relationship is the product. Some clients have been here since their earliest days. Twenty years, in one case.
  • The licenses are parts. Oversight is what turns them into protection. Judgment cannot be bought off the shelf.
  • A layer is complete, or it does not count. Email, web, computers, sign-ins, backups: each covers everything it applies to, checked around the clock.
  • Nothing fails silently. Every protection carries its own alarm. We check the checkers.

What we refuse

  • No tier one. When something matters, you talk directly to the person responsible for your environment. No rotating queue, no explaining everything again. Fewer hands in your systems also means fewer doors into them.
  • No scare tactics. Fear sells security tools. We would rather show you evidence and let you decide calmly.
  • No jargon. If a sentence needs an acronym decoder, it gets rewritten before it reaches you.
  • No collecting clients. The list stays intentionally small, and most arrivals come by referral. If we are not the right fit, we say so.
The evidence

We would rather show you than tell you.

Why this company exists

We Travel PC started in 2001, out of college, in a town where Microsoft was hiring across the street. I chose the less certain road: lean years, slow growth, and the freedom to build a company around the life and values that mattered to me. I believed a technology company could feel like a person instead of a department.

Twenty-five years later, businesses and families across the region depend on the company that grew from that choice.

— Michael Ehlert, Owner

Twenty-five years of hands-on work, backed by formal study in information technology and organizational leadership.
