We run a technology business, not an advertising business. This page says plainly what We Travel PC Inc collects and what we deliberately do not, in two parts: our public websites, and the client portal and services behind them. Questions are always welcome.

Part one · Our public websites

This part covers wetravelpc.com, wetravelpc.io, and the public help pages. It was written after technically auditing each one.

No tracking

Our public sites use no analytics, no advertising pixels, no fingerprinting, and no third-party scripts of any kind. Every resource on these pages loads from our own systems. The live protection numbers you see are fetched from our own servers and send nothing about you anywhere.

Cookies

Our public sites do not set cookies. The client portal uses a necessary sign-in cookie after a client logs in to maintain the authenticated session. We do not use cookies for advertising, analytics, or tracking.

Ordinary server logs

Like nearly every website, our web server keeps standard access logs: the address a request came from, the page requested, and the time. We use them for security and troubleshooting, and they rotate out on a schedule. They are not used for marketing and are not shared.

Forms and email

If you send us a message through a form on these sites, we keep what you wrote, along with your name and contact details, so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation. Form notifications reach us through our email delivery provider, SMTP2Go, which processes the message content in order to deliver it. We do not sell or share your information with anyone for marketing, full stop.

Hosting

These sites are hosted on infrastructure we manage at DigitalOcean, in the United States.

Part two · The client portal and our services

This part covers the client portal at portal.wetravelpc.com and information collected as part of the IT and security services we deliver to clients. It is held to a stricter standard than anything above.

What we collect

We collect information that helps us deliver IT and security services to your organization. Specifically:

Where it comes from

The portal pulls data from the platforms we use to manage and protect your environment. These cover several categories:

We use these platforms only as needed to deliver our services. Each platform has its own privacy practices, which apply to information it handles. A current list of the specific platforms we use is available on request.

How we use it

One purpose: delivering IT and security services to you. That means monitoring your systems for security threats and operational issues, displaying service status, reports, and billing information in your portal, alerting our team to issues that need attention, and maintaining accurate records of the work delivered to you. We do not use your information for marketing, analytics outside of service delivery, or anything else not directly related to the work.

How we protect it

Security is what you hire us for, so we hold our own systems to the same standard:

You can verify how we secure our own systems at Security in Depth.

We do not sell or share your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone. We share data in only three cases: with the platforms above, only as needed to deliver our services to you; when required by law, such as a court order, subpoena, or valid legal process; and when you explicitly authorize a specific share.

Billing and accounting data

When the portal integrates with QuickBooks Online for billing, it accesses only the information needed to display your invoices and payment status in the portal. We do not modify, transfer, or use that data for any purpose other than showing it to you.

How long we keep it

While you are an active client, we retain the information needed to deliver and document services. When our partnership ends, we work with you to remove operational data we hold about your environment from the portal and our integrated systems. Some records, such as billing history, invoices, and signed agreements, are retained longer for tax and legal purposes. We are happy to walk through specifics if you ask.

Your rights

You can ask what information we have about you or your organization, request corrections to inaccurate information, request deletion of your portal account and personal information associated with it subject to our legal, contractual, service, and retention obligations, and opt out of non-essential communications. To make any of these requests, contact us using the information below.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we update the date at the top and let active clients know about meaningful changes.
